There is really no need for this because the only people that bother to read my journal are family and friends and they all have viewing access already. But just in case you really want to get to know me (or we know each other from somwhere already), then leave a comment to be added.
Also, I was reading manga and I found this. It was so adorable that I had to do a little editing of my own.
(Special shoutout to Lalynn who inspired me to make my own graphics and encouraged me a lot too!)
So, that's all. Leave a small note as to who you are and where we met to be added.

I don't really have a favorite song anymore just because I've just been listening to things from other people like Jonathon and Lalynn. Three songs I've been listening to a lot lately have been:
1) Lost (Michael Buble) - Cause you are not alone; I am there with you. We'll got lost together.
2) Everything (Michael Buble) - Whatever comes our way, we'll see it through. And you know that's what our love can do.
3) Photograph (Nickelback) - It's hard to say it, time to say it: Goodbye, goodbye.
Hmmm...looks terribly sentimental, don't I? Still, if I really had to choose a favorite song, it'd have to be Dance With My Father by the amazing Luther Vandross. Simply because I am a sentimentalist and no matter what I do, I still can't truly let him go.
No private stories because this will be linked to from a public journal - my new attempt at thoughtful blogging, Contemporary Maria Clara.

I have exactly a week before it's my birthday, which means that there are only 85 days left in the year. I have so many things to do and I've seriously been reconsidering renewing my paid subscription because I don't use my LJ as often as I should anymore. Thus, I have officially two weeks to decide whether I want to keep it or not since I bought it as a belated birthday present to myself last year. Added to that the fact that I am dirt poor. :|
Nevertheless, it is time to make my list of things to accomplish before the year is over!

He is my new political idol. Furrealz. Move over Dick Cheney, Rahm-bo's got my attention now.
(lame.)
In other other news, however, I would like to inform my entire F-list and more that I am still alive. I know I haven't been around lately and several of you have informed me that you thought I had disappeared off the face of the Earth. No, still here (you're not getting off that easily). I am settled into my new room and my new apartment and, so far, I haven't killed Oliver so we're looking at smooth sailing for a while at least.
( keep on moving. )

1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die: Bold the books you've read; italicize the ones you have and/or intend to read in the near future.
( 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die )
It looks like a cool list to try and get through.

The male anglerfish latches on to a female near her stomach area. He fuses his mouth to her body and proceeds to atrophy into a pair of gonads. During ovulating season, the gonads ejects sperm into the female. To stay alive, the male anglerfish feeds off what the female eats. Gives a whole new meaning to the word leech.
Also, flatworms engage in penis-fencing. Since flatworms are hermaphrodites, come mating season, they engage in a battle and the first to get pierced is actually turned into the female for the season. Battle of the sexes, anyone?

Step 1: Put your iTunes player on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 32 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Let everyone guess what song and artist the lines come from. Try for as many as you know.
Step 4: Bold the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!
